This page is boring end egocentric. Read it only if you want to know what right I have to blather on about grammar.
Gramorak worked as a teacher of EFL and Modern Languages in England, Germany and Turkey for nine years, and then settled down in England for twenty years, teaching French and German in comprehensive schools and adult education institutes.
In 1998 he returned to the world of EFL and worked a teacher, course director, director of studies, UCLES examiner and teacher trainer at schools and universities in China, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany, Lebanon and Oman.
Gramorak co-authored one EFL course book and contributed to two others, and to a grammar published in Germany, and to a course book published in Estonia. He has delivered papers for Teachers of EFL in China, Latvia, Estonia, Oman and the Czech Republic, and conducted ‘grammar surgeries’ for teachers at several schools in Prague.
He was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts in 1974, and a Member of the College of Teachers in 2003.
He semi-retired in 2008 to concentrate on writing, consultancy couch-surfing and gardening.
